In the delightful (still updating) fic Breathe Into Me, Prince Vegeta has resigned himself to being alone, never finding his perfect counterpart, his true warrior. Nappa’s told him all about finding your mate, how it makes you feel complete and perfect, but Vegeta knows it could never happen, not now that the planet’s gone. And especially not with the last remaining Saiyans trapped under Frieza’s thumb.

And then he meets Goku, Raditz’s long-lost brother who doesn’t even know he’s a Saiyan. To make matters worse, Goku’s been pining after one of his earthling friends for so long, he barely knows how to interpret his own emotions.

I would kill for a soulmate!AU kakavege fic where all Sayans are born with a soulmate (they share a mark or maybe scars and feeling idk), and Vegeta's soulmate happens to be Goku and he never thought he could ever find his soulmate bc of their planet exploding and all. So when Vegeta finally meets Goku and fights him, he knows immediately that Goku is his soulmate, taking pride in his soulmate being a strong worthy opponent (so fitting for a Sayan prince). But bc Goku was dropped on his head he has no idea about any of this stuff. Like imagine the angst!!!! It would be so so good!

WIP Wednesday

Here's a bit of a future chapter of Think of Me (Raditz x Reader, rated E). It's getting a little harder to find stuff to share for WIP Wednesday because most of the stuff I have at this point is either major spoiler heavy, or smut. Thankfully, this is neither 😅

The drinks have done a lot to open him up; Raditz is leaning back in his seat, with his feet propped up on a chair across from him. His tail is draped over the side of the chair and lays on the floor.

Between his tail, lounging around, and crazy amount of hair, Raditz reminds Yamcha more of a lion, than anything.

It's so weird to him that Raditz gets treated like such a loser. He's a really cool dude, at least, in Yamcha's opinion. He's certain that a lot of people on Earth would find him cool, too.

Maybe, he's not cool out in space? That's not really fair, though.

Well, Raditz is more than welcome to chill with him anytime. He's a cool dude.

Raditz shrugs. "Look, it wasn't really complicated. Power level is lower? Shoot em. Power level is higher? Get the fuck out."

"Wait, so you'd run away?" Yamcha asks.

Raditz rolls his eyes.

"Of course," he says. "I'm not going to get fucked up by natives just because some rich asshole wants to build a resort planet. Fuck 'em."

He brings his fingers up to his mouth, then sighs in frustration and puts his hand down.

Yamcha's seen Bulma do the same thing when she's done one of her many attempts to stop smoking. He wonders what kind of invisible smoke Raditz is craving, right now.

It's absolutely wild to him that this is Goku's brother. They don't look a thing alike, for starters. Not only that, but Raditz cusses and talks shit like a thug.

It's surprising, though, that he doesn't talk about getting laid, or about what women are like out there in the galaxy. Raditz almost talks like he's a taken man.

Maybe he is, and he's just not aware of that, yet.

Yamcha thinks there's something more going on with you and Raditz. Realistically, though, a long distance relationship is hard to maintain.

He thinks it's a good thing, though. Bulma says Raditz seems to have perked up quite a bit. Good sex with a beautiful woman will do that, but—

Yamcha swears there's more to it. You two looked right together when you curled up on the couch in his lap.

He's going to see if he can get Raditz to talk about you more, then talk to Bulma about it.

He can't help but notice, too, that Raditz cusses way less around you and doesn't talk about anything too violent.

Yeah, Raditz is trying to leave a good impression by being polite with you.

Good. That's a very good start. It's how Yamcha started reforming.

He hopes that Raditz makes friends along the way. One woman can't bear all of that. Goodness knows Bulma couldn't. Little Goku was a godsend to keep Yamcha in line. Maybe, Yamcha should be Raditz' Goku?

Yikes. Those are massive shoes to fill.

Yamcha should probably call Krillin to come help.

He makes up his mind; he's going to ask Raditz if he wants to train with him. The guy has potential in all sorts of ways.

And, it's a way they can hang out. Because, Raditz is cool.

Its been a while since I watched/read the Orochi storyline, but from what I remember, Ranma, Ryoga and two male characters of that arc, dressed as women to distract the Orochi which desired to eat women, Akane climbed onto its back to get the healing moss.

Whilst there was a part where Ranma saved Akane, there was also a part where Akane moved into Orochi's jaws to save Ranma, and whilst she didn't battle its head, she used a magic whistle to make the beast go back under the sea.

I'm not one to think "Defeats named villains" is all that's needed to be useful, like Krillin, Bulma and Yamcha are important in many arcs, so I think Akane had a great showing there.

Mmm, I think there's a spectrum to that.

On the one hand, it would do a disservice to Piccolo to say he "Showed up and was immediately useless against Frieza" because he wasn't the one who ultimately won the battle. Piccolo's involvement is a game-changer that keeps the story moving, advances the fight through its stages, and makes the big spectacle Genki-Dama possible.

But at the other end of the spectrum, "Character X is a fighting character who fights, but we're not gonna give them any fights," is a thing that happens. Chiaotzu shows up to fight the Saiyans and immediately kills himself ineffectually. Then that is his sole contribution to the entirety of post-Raditz Dragon Ball fighting.

In shonen, this is something that often afflicts female characters especially. It's very noticeable when say Android 18, a character who can flex Super Saiyans into the dirt, has to stay home and watch the kid so Krillin can go fight Frieza.

It's true that supporting roles are very important in an anime fight, especially a big anime spectacle. But it's also true that female characters often get shunted into those supporting roles so that the main fighting roles can be dominated by men.

It's fine when it's a character like Bulma, who was a support character by design. She's never pretended to be anything but. But it can be irksome when a character shows up like, "BOOM, I'm a big tough warrior, my identity is all about how I'm really strong and hit stuff! Anyway, I'm here to be love interest, part-time comic relief, and party healer," or something like that.

So at the one end you have female characters who are not the main character and consequently don't get to strike the winning blow. However, they are still active contributors in the fighting and play critical roles in moving the narrative of the fight forward.

And at the other end you have female characters created with the aesthetics of an awesome combat front-liner. They're created to look cool only to add to their desirability as a waifu, and not because they're intended to be an active participant in any of the fighting.

And I don't really remember where on that spectrum Akane falls.

Trauma itself is NOT a piece of diagnostic criteria for DID (as per the DSM-V TR). The research surrounding DID and related dissociative disorders highlights an association with trauma, NOT a requirement. We simply do not know enough about these disorders to be claiming that trauma is the only possible origin. "You need trauma to be a system" is harmful misinformation that encourages the harassment and fakeclaiming of people with severely stigmatized mental disorders. If that's your only way of criticizing endogenic systems, you're not qualified to criticize them.

The concept of "non traumagenic plurality" is not new. "Endogenic" might be a relatively new word for it, but the concept itself is not. If rationalizing yourself as "multiple people in one body" is what makes sense to you, fine. If it's disrupting your daily life, though, it's time to either seek help or step away.

Criticizing the online system community, including the online endogenic community, is not exclusionist. This online community (like many others) can unfortunately damage a lot of young, developing minds with the state it's in right now. That's not wholly the fault of anti-endos or pro-endos.

"It's open practice" does not give you the right to use a bastardized word from Tibetan Buddhism to describe your headmates. Unless you're an experienced Tibetan Buddhist, stay away from terms like "tulpa" or "tulku". There are several other terms that are free for you to use.

Almost done working on a discord server that's mainly for fans of the Earthlings.

I haven't typed out all the rules just yet. The main rule is to show respect for each other to the best of your ability. If ppl on the same side fight amongst themselves, they cannot progress. And that's exactly what many hateful Saiyan fans want us to do. The discord will be a place for us to unite. We need to have peace amongst ourselves.

SOME RULES SO FAR 📝

If anyone intentionally causes trouble in the server, they will be kicked or banned. Our main goal is to have peace amongst each other. And if we discover that you are a Saiyan fan who has ill intent, you will be kicked or more than likely, you will be banned. This applies for most Vegeta stans since y'all are the ones who gave me the most trouble since I've been online. Most of his stans behave arrogantly. I and others will not put up with it. Hostile Vegeta stans will not be kicked... they WILL be banned. (And tbh, I doubt we will have many Vegeta stans to begin with.)

Another thing... NO NSFW ROSHI OR OOLONG ART. I don't want to see any art or stories of them with any DB women (or even with the guys). If I or mods do see it, then the person who posted it will be asked to delete it (a warning). If it continues to happen, the user will be put in Time Out or you may even be kicked. So, no hentai of Roshi nor Oolong. But also, I will allow very limited hentai of Hercule/Mr. Satan. I like these characters in SFW, but I cannot stand them in NSFW because of how the fandom uses other Earthlings to cause division with the rest of us. Especially so because the fandom uses these characters for hateful stuff towards Krillin more than any other character. So, to reiterate, NO NSFW ROSHI. NO NSFW OOLONG. VERY LITTLE NSFW HERCULE. The only NSFW Hercule stuff allowed is of him x a character with a minor role. Example being Hercule x Erasa. I DO NOT want to see Hercule x 18 or Chi-Chi! You want to do Hercule x Bulma during the Cell Saga & after? Sure. Hercule is only allowed very little on my server. (No NSFW Pilaf art either. Unless you want to put him with Mai, I guess that's ok. But I don't wanna see him with other characters at all.)

Another rule to help keep peace amongst ourselves is DO NOT share or create works that cause division for Earthling fans. An example would be to not have Krillin with Bulma unless its during times when she IS NOT with Yamcha. If YamBul broke up? Sure. But not when they are together. With Launch, since she and Tien never actually got together, then works of Krillin or Yamcha with Launch are fine. (I believe it is stated somewhere that Tien doesn't care for romantic relationships.) Since 18 is married to Krillin, there will be no art shared of her with any other guy. If you want to post art of Yamcha x Maron (I call her Malon) then you better make it clear that it's AFTER Krillin dumped her. And since in DBH, Yamcha has a new girlfriend, I'd appreciate it if the art shared of Virdo is just her by herself or her with Yamcha. I don't have any intentions to draw any Krillin x Virdo. (Edit: NO TWINCEST! Meaning no 17 x 18 stuff. 18 is with Krillin, so there will be no 18 x not Krillin stuff shared. 17 falls under this umbrella.)

WARNING; In this server, it will be 100% okay to NTR or cuck characters like Roshi, Oolong, Hercule, Gero, and some if not all of the Saiyans. But, if some users express that they are uncomfortable with NTR, then we will hide the images as a "SPOILER" & give a warning.

CHANNELS 🌐

I may need to do more adjustments. Like have a place for SFW & NSFW art for aliens that aren't Saiyans. That can be figured out later when users make suggestions in the suggestion channel.

I have also created a channel specifically for official Saiyan x Earthling ships. Meaning there will be no place for fan-ships like Goku x Suno, Gohan x Erasa, Raditz x Launch, nor Vegeta x anyone other than Bulma. Its a place specifically for canon ships that involve Saiyans. And I'm generous enough to allow Broly x Cheelai even though that is not a canon ship.

There will also be a special server for a select few to chat in. I may decide to add some others as time goes by. But, I will have to be very careful with who I add to that. Gotta make sure they are an Earthling fan before they are a Saiyan fan.

(Networking is something I mentioned before.)

In these particular channels, we can strategize & discuss ways to improve how the Earthling characters we love can be viewed in a more positive light. Here, we will present facts to oppose the lies spread in the fandom. FACTS OVER FEELINGS, BUT... we will also take into account the way each other feels about subjects so that those emotions can align with the facts. If they do align with facts, we validate & help figure out ways to promote such factual feelings in the fandom.

(Many Saiyan fans seem to put feelings over facts and in opposition to facts. But they are so forceful that they lead to much of the negativity & toxicity in the fandom towards Earthlings. Many behave like Vegeta before he turned good. Lying so much that they believe the lies themselves.)

We can discuss about how to speak with ppl and other artists online too. We don't want to insult artists, but would rather encourage them to draw what we like every now and again. But we need to learn to avoid the ones who are opposed to Earthling fans & have hatred of Earthling characters. We don't support them financially nor do we promote their art. Some speak like they don't want or need us anyway, so why would we retweet their art? In hopes they change and do art we like? No. We MAKE them change by not supporting them. And if they don't change, then they have lost our support for good.

(Personal thing; I do not like or retweet art of 18 if Roshi is in the background. That enforces Roshi with 18. I only retweet lewd art of her when she's by herself or with Krillin.)

I have some emojis made up. I may change or add different ones. But, I'd like for most of the emojis to be DB characters since it's mainly a DB server. (Notice how I have very few Saiyan emojis compared to the Earthling emojis. That's intentional. I may even get rid of the Saiyan ones all together in the future. Who knows.)

I will also encourage Two-Factor Authentication for the safety of those who I give invites to. We want to be safe. If I had angry Vegeta stans try to get my twitter blocked, then I'm sure they would attempt to come after a group of Earthling fans too.

This is mainly for Earthling fans to have a place to chat with each other and build without the interference of hateful Saiyan fans or fans who hate Earthling characters like Krillin, Yamcha, & Chi-Chi.

What do you think about the server icon and title? "Earthling Energy" was the best I could come up with. 😅 It's meant to represent the gathering of our positive energy into a hope filled Spirit Bomb to be used against certain types of ppl in the fandom.

• I just don't like most het ships in general, but I'm fine with Goku x Chichi, Vegeta x Bulma, Krillin x 18, etc… Noncanon-wise I also like Champa x Vados, Chronoa x Trunks…

• Trunks x Mai is weird to me.

• I don't like Raditz x Launch. I just don't see the appeal.

• I don't like Broly x Cheelai… I don't like the vibes that goes with it: Basic sympathy for a victim isn't inherently romantic.

• I don't see the appeal of a lot random ships I have seen with Chronoa… Like I have seen Zamasu x Chronoa, Shin x Chronoa, Demigra x Chronoa, Mechikabura x Chronoa, etc. and I'm like??? No thanks. Meanwhile Chronoa actually has good chemistry with Trunks… Also Aeos. Especially Aeos.

• I don't like het ships involving Caulifla & Kale. With the exception of (both Z & Super) Broly x Kale bc I like the idea of them having solidarity (but very often the fandom makes Z!Broly really gross.)
